Understand this payment flow
Official options include Bitcoin, USDT Polygon, USDT Arbitrum and Binance Pay. Our planner covers only these three on-chain networks. Binance Pay is a separate checkout route, not an on-chain withdrawal address.

1Choose the trip before the payment method
Check travel dates, guest names, party size and destination. Compare inclusions such as breakfast, baggage and extras rather than just the lowest displayed price. Travel can cost more than a small subscription. Record the final total and cancellation terms before preparing funds. These are checking suggestions, not a tested booking report.
2Separate Binance Pay from on-chain payment
Travala lists Binance Pay. If offered at your checkout, follow that flow and review the recipient and amount in Binance; an existing account may be used. For Bitcoin or USDT on-chain payment, check the invoice network, address, amount and expiry. Do not copy payment information from one route into the other.
3Match the full USDT network
This page covers explicitly listed USDT on Polygon and Arbitrum, plus Bitcoin. It is not a complete list of the site’s methods. Match the network shown after selecting the asset. A lower fee does not justify changing networks. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Lightning are different routes; BTC in our planner means Bitcoin mainnet.
4Check booking confirmation after payment
A completed payment does not by itself establish booking confirmation. Keep the payment record and booking email separately, checking names, dates and reference numbers. If funds were sent but the order is pending, contact official Travala support before booking again. Keep the order and transaction references ready.
5Hotel refunds: USDT or Travel Credits?
The booking must qualify for a refund. Travala’s hotel policy sends ordinary crypto payments back as Travel Credits, while Binance Pay payments are refunded in USDT to the Binance Pay wallet. A crypto payment therefore does not necessarily return the original asset. Travel Credits can fund Travala bookings but cannot be withdrawn or converted back to crypto. Consider this before choosing payment. These are hotel rules; flights and car rentals need their own terms.
6Clarify changes and refunds first
Read the cancellation conditions in your itinerary or My Bookings: eligibility, deadline, timezone and possible fees. Different rates at the same hotel may have different conditions. Use the original booking’s cancel option and review the conditions again. If it is unavailable, contact Travala support. A submitted request is not a completed refund; retain cancellation confirmation and check the relevant payment account. Establish whether the original booking remains valid before arranging a replacement.
